Find out why the Tristel Trio Wipes System has been the chosen solution for Hospital de Écija since 2009.
Watch the hospital’s story:
Paqui Gasco Fernández, an infection prevention nurse from the Bajo Guadalquivir Health Agency working at Hospital de Écija, talks us through the hospital’s experiences with Tristel.
The hospital was finding their previous disinfectant soaking methods were taking a very long time to be effective. Moreover, using them was causing medical devices to deteriorate. The centre needed constant and immediate access to equipment to provide high-quality service for a high patient throughput. Therefore, they required a new disinfectant solution that would quickly and completely reprocess medical devices.
In 2009, the hospital found its solution, moving to the Tristel Trio Wipes System in ENT. Since then, the use of Trio has expanded throughout Hospital de Écija to every suitable department. Over the years, this has grown to include Gynaecology, Cardiology, Urology and operating theatres. Decontamination training is also delivered to ensure the hospital staff can keep up to speed with the latest official guidance.
Well accepted by the hospital staff, the Tristel Trio Wipes System enable the medical devices to stay in good condition long-term. The Hosptial de Écija team find the training very enjoyable and they have developed a good understanding of all the steps to include in every decontamination process. Delivering speed, complete high-level disinfection and material compatibility, Tristel provides Hospital de Écija with a true solution for their medical device reprocessing.
