STEP 1: Cleaning
Wipe the medical device using the Pre-Clean Wipe to remove all visible soil.STEP 2: High-Level Disinfection
Activate Tristel’s chlorine dioxide chemistry and wipe the surface of the medical device, ensuring all areas are covered with foam. Wait for a minimum contact time of 30 seconds.STEP 3: Rinsing
Wipe the medical device using the Rinse Wipe to remove excess foam.STEP 4: Traceability
Record the decontamination cycle by completing the Tristel Quality Audit Trail Record Book or follow instructions on our 3T Digital Traceability app.Refer to the User Guide for full instructions. -
Chemistry
The Tristel Sporicidal Wipe utilises our proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry, a well-documented and highly effective biocide.
The Tristel Sporicidal Wipe is impregnated with Tristel Base Solution (citric acid) and the Tristel Activator Foam is a dilute solution of sodium chlorite. When the Activator Foam is applied to the wipe and the two are scrunched together, our chlorine dioxide chemistry is generated.
