Established in 1993, Tristel is a global infection prevention business, headquartered in Cambridgeshire, UK. We have subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Spain, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
The objective of Design is to take new product concepts to market, in accordance with industry design control requirements and state-of-the-art standards.
Design has the responsibility and authority for project managing design projects which seek to introduce a new portfolio, product, solution, or delivery system into the global market. Ensuring the output of those projects meet market, user, and customer needs, whilst aligning to internal design control procedures. Design is responsible for managing the product design process with efficiency and clarity, ensuring a high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of Design Projects in accordance with the approved procedures,
- To aid in the development of new products, concepts, portfolios or delivery systems to deliver upon the corporate and brand strategy.
- Curate, assemble and maintain product Design Files, establishing consistent records for Design History.
- Conduct product risk assessments in line with the approved procedures.
- Establish records for Design Projects.
- Data gathering and reporting activities. Technical and commercial writing.
- Carry out market research, competitor research and global sales intel.
- Research and sourcing for new suppliers and working with existing suppliers to develop elements of product design.
Requirements:
- Communication (the ability to establish a connection with people at every level and both understand and be understood).
- Organisation (the ability to work on multiple projects at once and keep clear and accurate records, in good order).
- Humility (the ability to listen, admit mistakes, have empathy).
Qualifications:
- Degree level education, or up to A-levels or equivalent as a minimum with proven experience with project management.
