What is SARS-CoV-2?

SARS-CoV-2 is a severe acute respiratory syndrome virus and the strain of coronavirus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coronaviruses are a group of airborne viruses that spread via respiratory droplets. These droplets can be directly transmitted to a new host or indirectly via contaminated surfaces.

Testing demonstrates that Tristel’s proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry is effective against SARS-CoV-2 in 30 seconds.

Chemistry

JET is based on a proprietary chlorine dioxide (ClO2) chemistry, a well-documented and highly effective biocide. JET incorporates two separate compartments that contain Base Solution (citric acid) and Activator Solution (sodium chlorite). When mixed by pulling the JET Trigger, ClO2 chemistry is generated. JET contains a non-ionic surfactant for added cleaning performance.

Product Options

JET is available in boxes of two 800ml JET bottles. Each bottle delivers 570 doses of sporicidal chlorine dioxide foam.
