Daher lassen sich die Bakterien und ihre Sporen im Stuhl nachweisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine <em>C. difficile<\/em>-Kolonisierung, also der Nachweis des Erregers ohne Symptome, ist weit verbreitet und tritt auf bei:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15\u201330% der Bewohner von Langzeitpflegeeinrichtungen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4\u201315% der gesunden Erwachsenen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bis zu 21% der station\u00e4r behandelten Erwachsenen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wussten Sie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>C. difficile<\/em> ist die h\u00e4ufigste Ursache f\u00fcr infekti\u00f6sen Durchfall in Krankenh\u00e4usern und Langzeitpflegeeinrichtungen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-was-verursacht-c-difficile\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-932a24098b51afb2235d1c209a1b8765\">Was verursacht <em>C. difficile<\/em>?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr gesunde Menschen stellt <em>C. difficile<\/em> kein Gesundheitsrisiko dar. Bei der Einnahme von Antibiotika kann sich jedoch manchmal das Gleichgewicht der Darmflora ver\u00e4ndern. Diese Verringerung der mikrobiellen Vielfalt erm\u00f6glicht es <em>C. difficile<\/em>, sich zu vermehren und Toxine zu produzieren. Diese Toxine k\u00f6nnen den Darm sch\u00e4digen und Durchfall verursachen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die meisten F\u00e4lle einer <em>C. difficile<\/em>-Infektion treten w\u00e4hrend der Einnahme von Antibiotika oder kurz nach Beendigung der Behandlung auf. Insbesondere in Gesundheitseinrichtungen, in denen viele Patienten Antibiotika erhalten, kann das Vorkommen von <em>C. difficile<\/em> zu h\u00e4ufigen Ausbr\u00fcchen f\u00fchren. Das Infektionsrisiko ist h\u00f6her bei Personen, die:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bereits eine <em>C. difficile<\/em>-Infektion hatten<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sich k\u00fcrzlich in einem Krankenhaus oder Pflegeheim aufgehalten haben<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>65 Jahre oder \u00e4lter sind<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ein geschw\u00e4chtes Immunsystem haben, wie z. B. Menschen mit HIV\/AIDS, Krebs oder Organtransplantationspatienten, die immunsuppressive Medikamente einnehmen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Faktoren machen <em>C. difficile<\/em> zu einer erheblichen mikrobiellen Bedrohung, insbesondere f\u00fcr gef\u00e4hrdete Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wussten Sie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Etwa jeder sechste Patient, der sich mit C. <em>difficile<\/em> infiziert, wird sich in den folgenden zwei bis acht Wochen wahrscheinlich erneut anstecken.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-wie-wird-c-difficile-ubertragen\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5fa38d5367b0e250ad509aae6846c8c6\">Wie wird <em>C. difficile<\/em> \u00fcbertragen?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine Infektion kann entstehen, wenn Menschen <strong>mit F\u00e4kalien kontaminierte Oberfl\u00e4chen ber\u00fchren und anschlie\u00dfend Mund oder Gesicht anfassen<\/strong>. Auch Angeh\u00f6rige von Gesundheitsberufen k\u00f6nnen die Bakterien auf Patienten \u00fcbertragen, wenn ihre H\u00e4nde mit <em>C. difficile<\/em> kontaminiert sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-wie-konnen-sie-sich-gegen-c-difficile-schutzen\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d7afefa865b55ded2e4ca69637446765\">Wie k\u00f6nnen Sie sich gegen <em>C. difficile<\/em> sch\u00fctzen?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um die Ausbreitung von <em>C. difficile<\/em>-Infektionen zu verhindern, waschen Sie sich nach dem Toilettengang und vor dem Essen stets die H\u00e4nde mit Wasser und Seife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nutzen Sie nach M\u00f6glichkeit ein separates Badezimmer, duschen und waschen Sie sich mit Seife. Waschen Sie mit F\u00e4kalien verunreinigte Kleidung und Bettw\u00e4sche getrennt von der \u00fcbrigen W\u00e4sche bei der h\u00f6chstm\u00f6glichen Temperatur. Reinigen Sie Toiletten, Toilettenst\u00fchle und den umliegenden Bereich nach jedem Gebrauch mit Desinfektionsmittel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wussten Sie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>C. difficile<\/em> kann auf Oberfl\u00e4chen bis zu f\u00fcnf Monate \u00fcberleben, da es gegen die bakterizide Wirkung der meisten im Krankenhaus eingesetzten Desinfektionsmittel sowie gegen\u00fcber anderen Aufbereitungsverfahren resistent sind.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desinfektionsmittel mit <strong>sporizider <\/strong>Wirksamkeit sind f\u00fcr die Infektionspr\u00e4vention und den Schutz von <em>C. difficile<\/em> unerl\u00e4sslich.
