Built on the robust chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) chemistry used in Tristel’s medical device decontamination range, POD CLO2 ensures effective and dependable disinfection.

Each capsule contains two separate compartments with Base Solution (citric acid) and Activator Solution (sodium chlorite). Simply burst the capsule to activate the CLO2 chemistry, which can be diluted in 5 or 10 litres of water.

ClO₂ is an oxidiser that effectively denatures proteins and genetic material in microorganisms. Due to the mode of action of Tristel’s ClO2, microorganisms cannot build resistance!
