The Tristel Traceability App is designed to provide traceability and compliance in a smart and efficient way. It comprises a Smart App to record every Tristel disinfection event and a Web Portal for data analysis and reporting.

When used in tandem with a Tristel product such as the Tristel Trio Wipes System, the App records operator, disinfectant (LOT and Expiry) and instrument data, as well as a patient ID. Short videos guide the operator through each disinfection event to ensure compliance with user instructions. Upon completion of a disinfection event, the App produces a digital disinfection record with a unique validation code.

Each record is automatically uploaded to the Disinfection Log on both the App and Web Portal, where data can be searched, filtered and extracted into a CSV file.

Features

INCREASED EFFICIENCY & ACCURACY
The App speeds up manual traceability processes by digitalising it. It makes traceability more efficient and more accurate: it is used while disinfecting instead of afterwards and any handwritten content is eliminated.

VOICE RECOGNITION
The Traceability App is available on a voice command device (VCD). Operators can move through the disinfection event by saying “OK” instead of tapping OK on the smart phone, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

SECURITY & DATA PROTECTION
The App is hosted by Tristel on a secure Microsoft Azure Cloud server. Microsoft has taken measures to secure data and has more than 20 Cloud computing related security certificates
in place, including ISO 27001 (information security) and 27018 (personal data protection). Microsoft also complies with both international and industry-specific compliance standards and
participates in rigorous third-party audits that verify security controls. In addition, the App has been developed according to the latest General Data Protection Regulation, which came into force on 25th May 2018.

PAPERLESS OPERATION
The App is completely paperless. Disinfection records produced by the App are digital. Synchronisation between the App and Web Portal occurs when a WiFi connection is established.

ANALYSIS & REPORTING
The Web Portal gathers all disinfection records in an easy-to-navigate secure environment. The Web Portal is also used to add instruments to be disinfected, operators and clinical settings. This results in an organised overview of data essential for traceability and compliance.
